"Ray of Hope ... 60 Years Later"

On October 19, 2005, Toronto ALPHA hosted the dinner event
Ray of Hope … 60 Years Later
at
the Premiere Ballroom, Richmond Hills, Ontario.  Many interested community members joined our celebration and be part of our mission to pursue historical truth and justice. In a short time, ALPHA has achieved major accomplishments that have benefited the whole community.  However, there is still a long way to go to ensure Ontario teachers feel comfortable teaching this history in their classrooms. To achieve this honourable goal, your generous and continuous support is critical. ALPHA strongly believes that together we can help make the ultimate dream of global citizenship and world peace a reality.

ALPHA’s Annual ‘Peace & Reconciliation’ Study Tours 2004

In the summer of 2004, Toronto and B.C. ALPHA organized and sponsored for the first time a Peace and Reconciliation Study Tour to China for nearly 20 Canadian educators. It was a great success. The seven study tour educators from Ontario have since taken this history seriously in their area of work and as their personal mission. All of them have also volunteered themselves in supporting a number of Toronto ALPHA’s educational initiatives after their tour.  more photos

ALPHA’s Annual and Donor Meeting

All the worthwhile initiatives that help educate the younger generations and the public about the human rights issue – will not be made possible or sustainable without the generous and continuous support from our donors - the local communities and you.

Toronto Alpha's Annual and Donor Meeting is to be held to thank you all the supports from our donors and to report our achievement in one year.
